Director of Waste Management, Canadian Nuclear Laboratory
Andy has over 32 years of nuclear industry program, operations and waste management experience in both government and commercial sectors. He possesses a comprehensive knowledge of U.S., U.K. and Canadian nuclear industry frameworks in relation to decommissioning and waste management.
A leader with a proven track record of driving innovation and efficiency to bring about beneficial change within waste and decommissioning programs. Recently, he led the transformation of the Canadian Nuclear Laboratories (CNL) Waste Programs and Services to a fully integrated, hazard reduction-focused organization as part of Canadian National Energy Alliance (CNEA).
Andy is the Director of Waste Management for CNL and is responsible for waste strategy and for managing life-cycle capabilities including characterization, packaging transportation, storage, processing and disposal of wastes at all CNL sites.
